10. Crash Bandicoot 1 and 2 : one of the fondest parts of my childhood

9. Mortal Kombat Series: Revolutionized violence in video games and fighting games also great memory of my childhood

8.Halo Series: not my favorite shooter but still one of the best

7: TOMBA! series: cult classic one of the best rpg's great sidescroller rpg really got me interested in RPG's

6.Madden Series: opened the door for pretty much all sports games today

5.Kingdom Hearts: Definitley the best games on the ps2 i put at least 60 hrs in that game

4. Age of Empires series: sorry starcraft fans best RTS of all time

3. Call of Duty 4 modern warfare : while there are many opinions about its sequels there can be no doubt that this revolutionized the first person shooter and opened the door for hundreds (ok not hundreds) but a lot of look alike military shooters such as battlefield ( i know its older than cod but it wasn't nearly as popular) to become household names. Christmas 2007 best christmas so far

2.Goldeneye 007 my first shooter will always have a place in my heart

Fallout 3 i honestly have literally put months into this freaking game lol. I have 36 different fallout 3 character and every dlc. No game has enthralled and excited me more than fallout 3 truly a masterpiece.



Honerable Mentions

GTA series amazing games would have been in top 3 but it has upset me how much they milk the series with "liberty city stories" types of games

Red Dead Redemption- i would put this game at 1.5 one of the best games ive ever played just couldnt fit it anywhere on the list

10. taz the tasmanian devil. this game was my childhood.
9. Splinter Cell series. Sam fisher is just. so. awesome.
8. Hitman series. i like stealth games, as you can see.
7. Assassin's creed series. the storyline is pretty cool and the game is beautiful.
6. GTA: SA. this game may not have the best graphics, but it'll always be the most fun to me.
5. Red Dead Redemption. who doesn't wanna be a badass cowboy who can hogtie random people?
4. Metal Gear Solid series. childhood memories.
3. Minecraft. it's fun and retro-ish.
2. Metro 2033. who would've thought nazis would still be around in 2033?
1. NBA 2k11. this game is too fun. the Hall of Fame may be bullshit, but this is fun.

Couldn't fit in borderlands. Borderlands is hella good. I didn't put any COD games or Halo because i'm not too fond of first-person shooters. And also. Batman arkham asylum. Batman is just so badass in this game. I mostly like it for the combat, stealth and the cool gadgets. And Ty the tasmanian devil is pretty fun too. Played those games all the time when i was a kid.

my top ten series are,gta,the elder scrolls,fallout,need for speed,test drive,myst,atv off road,burnout,gran turismo and jak %26amp; daxter.i went with the gta series even though i think gta iv is lame and boring,i still love the rest of the series.there are other games i would have put in but they are either single games or only 2 of them which doesnt make a series.hope this helps.have fun gaming.

I love the classics on N64 and PS1 but I pretty much just play PS3 now..
