Xbox live silver account help?

i have an xbox 360 arcade but it does not have wifi, it's the one where you have to use an ethernet cable and an xbox 360 wireless adaptor



i do not have those but can i still get on xbox live with a silver account and get DLC for my DIRT 3 mortal kombat and wwe allstars?Xbox live silver account help?
A silver account means that you can;

-private chat with one person,

-download (and then play) content available on the XBOX LIVE Marketplace,

-text %26amp; voice message friends.



You will NOT be able to play any games online (as this would require a gold account); but so long as you have a wireless adapter plugged into the XBOX, and broadband available to you; you'll be able to download the content, and play it offline.Xbox live silver account help?
