Mortal kombat 9 dlc region 2?

I have a MK9 Region 2 disc and I bought some characters off the US PSN, but I cant activate them in my game, is the DLC region free?Mortal kombat 9 dlc region 2?
Yeah DLC is region locked like DVD's %26amp; Blu Rays. (BLE..., BLU... codes found on cover spine)

Pretty sure region 2 is UK so i assume you purchased the game from the UK.
You will need a PSN account for the country the game was purchased.

So if you did get it from the UK, you will need a UK PSN account to purchase DLC.
Because foreign credit cards are not allowed to be used, easiest way to get the funds is buying a UK PSN card from somewhere like www.dvd.co.uk or even Ebay.

After they are 'unlocked' on the foreign account, the content is usable across all accounts just like your locally purchased DLC.

DLC only works for the version of the game it's for. It's not so much a region lock as the game IDs need to match with the DLC.
