Mortal Kombat 9 DLC Missing?

I purchased and downloaded all the DLC characters for my xbox. they loaded up like normal. so i took my xbox onto my bus to play it on the road and all the DLC characters are now missing. The files are still saved on the console and I can see the files, but the characters are not loading into the game. Yo don't have to be signed into XBL to use the DLC characters do yo?? Any help would be appreciated.

Putting aside the artificial intelligence of bus movement physicists, it may be worthwhile re-downloading your purchased content by checking your download history through account management. You don't need to be online to use DLC content on any system/console. Maybe because you are playing your Xbox 360 while on a moving bus the Xbox might has shaken and may have damaged it. You could try and download the DLC pack again and see if that works.
